Parents and members of the parish frequently attend school events, and everyone is welcome to participate in local church activities.

The fruits of the of the Spirit sum up very well the ethos and values of Micklehurst All Saints CE Primary School.  They are a very clear sign that this is a school with Christian values.  We believe it is vital that these building blocks are encouraged as a sound basis for learning, living and growing amongst our children.

The family that is Micklehurst ensures that all members of the school community feel safe, valued and cared for.  We appreciate and value the uniqueness of each individual and nurture these personal and individual gifts.

Our special Christian identity is demonstrated in the values we share and in the relationships that all members of the school community have with one another.

We are inclusive and welcome others regardless of differences; all individuals are respected, supported and nurtured.

We give to others the tolerance, understanding and forgiveness that we would want for ourselves.

SIAMS Report

School Ethos and Values

"The fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, kindness, generosity,

faithfulness, gentleness and self-control."

(Galatians 5:22)

As a Church school we have a distinctive character where Christian

values are promoted in all aspects of school life.  We encourage all

members of the school community to promote a Christian ethos where

care and respect is shown to everyone.

Our school is part of the Parish of Mossley which includes St Georges and St John’s churches, St Georges CE Primary School and Milton St John CE Primary School.  Fr. David leads Worship weekly on a Wednesday at 9.15am and other members of the church visit regularly to support the school and the learning of the children.

Sunday services take place at 9.30am at St Johns and 11.00am at St Georges.
